In the summer of 2018 we were asked to make a quick proposal for the design of a new set of stairs as well as a feasibility study for a this new connection between two floors in two different apartments now owned by the same family.

We wanted something light that did not abrupt the light space on either of the lower or upper  floors and proposed a set of thin concrete stairs with a recessed handrail in the side wall together with a white metal mesh as protection to the room.
